There’s so much going on that we can’t include everything, but consider these guides your topline starting points 🎉
For music on the farm we have:
The Main Stage, which hosts our bigger well known artists including your headliners
The Bandstand presented by heycar, our smallest quirkiest stage
Alex James’ Cheese Hub, the ultimate destination for dancing to awesome DJs
BBC Music Introducing stage, where you can listen to new and upcoming music
Sundown Saloon, NEW for 2023, hosting Country Music genre
Our tips:
Start the day feeling groovy and dance it out at The Main Stage with Lycra 80s Aerobics Dance Workout, 12pm. Also on the Main Stage are rising stars Matilda Mann, 1.30pm and Thomas Headon, 2.30pm. The wonderful Gabrielle will also be on The Main Stage at 4.45pm (dreams do come true) 🎵
Make time to head over to BBC Music Introducing to listen to new and upcoming artists performing such as Imber 3pm or Danniella Dee 5pm.
Make sure you are at our new area The Smokery, and in front of our newest stage The Sundown Saloon ready for 6pm, when Sarah Jaynes Dolly Parton Experience featuring Kenny Rogers take to the stage. You might just find the whole Big Feastival team there for this performance!
And of course, what other way to end the perfect day than to see the legendary Stereophonics take to The Main Stage at 8.15pm.
With your time on the farm, try as much food as possible and visit as many experiences as you can. There are so many fabulous opportunities to eat, learn, and get hands on.
Our tips:
In terms of experiences, don’t miss NEFF ambassador Kathy Slack, 10.30am, or Ravneet Gill, 3.30pm at the NEFF Big Kitchen.
Don’t miss our Table Sessions Q&A, Michelin star restaurants with Brad Carter & Tom Barnes at at 4pm.
Grab the little ones and head over to the M&S Little Cooks Kitchen, and sign up to an age appropriate cooking class, we advise getting there early to avoid disappointment.
Toast with the drink of the summer, with Chandon Garden Spritz. If you have a VIP Pass you will be able to access the VIP Chandon Garden Spritz Secret Garden, and if you do not, then head to the Chandon Garden Spritz bar!
For street food, it’s really tough to make decisions as there is so many fabulous options. However, we suggest for a Sunday treat heading to Uh K-Dogs n Juicy for some Korean deliciousness, or Curry on Naanstop for an Indian plate, or to the wonderful DJ BBQ stand for some un-rivalled pulled pork sandwiches, with an excellent pairing from Sharps Brewery.
For family entertainment, the opportunities for fun really are endless. Here’s some of our Friday highlights, picked by the BF team.
If you are camping with us, come and meet us for some campsite yoga at around 8am in the campsite hub. Start the day feeling refreshed and ready to go!
Kick off the family fun at BBC Music Introducing, and either get involved or support the Big Feastival’s Got Talent show, 11.15am The winner of this competition wins tickets to Big Feastival 2023!
Stick around in Little Dudes Den and head over to The Big Top for a Meet and Greet with Bluey and Bingo 12pm, followed by Cosmic Kids live with Jaime, 12.45pm.
Head over to The Bandstand presented by heycar at 4pm to get involved with Ms Merlin’s Hula Hoop workshop, and also get grooving to Accidentally Fabulous Dance Workout, 8pm.
We also have CBeebies Bedtime Stories running throughout the day, and there is always lots of fun and hands on activities available to drop into at Crafty Corner and Hidden Hollow.
