Oti Mabuse is a South African talent show judge, television presenter and Latin dance champion. She captured the hearts of the British public as a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, and is the only professional to have won the show twice concurrently in both 2019 and 2020. In television she has appeared as a Dance Captain on The Greatest Dancer, a panellist on The Masked Dancer and a judge on Dancing on Ice. In 2022 Oti embarked on a journey of self-discovery in her BBC One documentary Oti Mabuse: My South Africa and with her sister Motsi in ITV’s emotional DNA Journey. She entertained the nation’s young children during lockdown with her Cbeebies’ show Boogie Beebies, hosted the hit ITV show Romeo & Duet, and took on this year’s Comic Relief Challenge Frozen. This year she launched Oti Mabuse’s Breakfast Show every Saturday morning on ITV1 – a new lifestyle and entertainment chat show.
Oti’s children’s book series Dance With Oti celebrates dance, movement and expressing your feelings – as well as teaching a short, simple 10-step dance routine. Having already released The Bird Jive and The Lion Samba, next in the series is The Penguin Waltz, released later in 2023. Oti has hosted two series of the BBC Sounds podcast Oti Mabuse’s Dancing Legends in which she explores the extraordinary people who have changed the course of dance as well as Oti Mabuse: The Rhythm of Life, where she sits down with her closest celebrity friends, digging deep to show a side of them we've never seen before.
