The Parents Pitstop
We appreciate how challenging Festival life can be with little ones in tow, so we are bringing back the Parents Pitstop with Up All Hours to make your experience that bit easier. The lovely team will be on hand to help with luxury nappy changing facilities, quiet feeding areas and microwaves to warm up any food or bottles. Not to worry about spending a penny here as this is all completely free to use so you can pop in to re-charge your broods batteries as many times as you need, throughout the festival weekend!
The Little Top
For those who need a little calm, The Little Top offers a space for some quiet time with beanbags and books while you take a break from the festival. Whether your child is circus schooled out, you need to rest your dancing legs or the excitement simply gets too much, The Little Top is the perfect little refuge.
We have multiple toilet and showering facilities located around the campsites. Every toilet block also contains a pull down baby change unit and a microwave and kettle is available at each campsite cooking point. In addition to the general campsite facilities, When Nature Calls are on board to provide luxury facilities. To stay feeling fresh all festival weekend, upgrade your camping experience with one of their wristbands which offers access to the posh loos (that are cleaned after EVERY use), hair-washing/styling stations and baby-changing facilities. Pre-book passes here.
Children Food Options
We strive to cater to all at The Big Feastival, that’s why we’ve created a special Family Dining Room, perfect for your little ones. Head to the Village Green to find our Family Dining Room, complete with benches, high chairs and a shaded area to make it that little bit easier for families to sit down and have a meal together. Joining us in the Family Dining Room this year will be The Cooking Cooks plating up a pick and mix pasta selection using fresh Italian ingredients for our little feastival-goers, alongside Tom’s Spuds bringing their take on the classic hot jacket potato. Aside from this area, many of our Street Food stands will also sell smaller, child-size portions on request. Head over to our Street Food page to see the full line-up.
Being a festival for ALL the family is something we take seriously here at Big Feastival HQ! We've been working super hard to make sure that this year is bigger and better than ever before, especially when it comes to Family Entertainment. We have crafted an EPIC programme to make sure your little ones are entertained for the whole weekend.
As well as Festival favourites Dick & Dom, Children's TV Megastar Justin Fletcher and the lovable Peppa & George, we also have PJ Masks' Catboy making his Big Feastival debut at The Big Top and Little Dude's Den. Elsewhere, we have a new Children's Charity, The Flying Seagull Project, who will be taking over The Playground with Superpirates, the return of NEFF's Little Kitchen and Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park! Make sure you sign up to our database to be the first to know the key timings and information about special guest appearances in advance.
Mr Trolley Hire
Mr Trolley's hire service will be back once again to help you carry all your kit from your car to where you decide to camp. Please note: we do not take pre-bookings for this service, simply turn up and head to our hire point in the car park. The hire point is located in the car park, this is where you can hire a trolley, load up and ease into the festival.
There will also be an Overnight Hire service on offer, so you can wheel your little ones around and catch the late performances, whilst they are enjoying a ride or a nap. In addition, there are a limited number of wagon conversions available – a trolley with cushions and a canopy with sides that go up and down. Both of these Overnight Hire options are pre-bookable. To find out more about how you can pre-book or hire these trolleys or canopies, click here.
Music can be particularly loud to children so we will be selling ear defenders in our merchandise shop. Stop by and pick up a pair of the headphones – another plus is they look extra cute!
We have a general meeting point area in our main arena which all families should familiarise themselves with. It's well sign-posted and is a key place for any split up families to reunite.
