James Strawbridge is a Cornish chef, sustainable living expert, author, and food photographer.
He has forged a hugely successful and varied career, including notable TV credits include, ITV’S Hungry Sailors and BBC2’s It's Not Easy Being Green, as well as multiple cooking appearances on Channel 4’s Escape to the Château. Most recently, he fronted ‘Strawbridge over the Drawbridge’ for the BBC1 – highlighting his passion for and extensive knowledge of both food and history.
Additional to his TV Career, James runs Strawbridge Kitchen with his wife Holly, a successful food development business creating and shooting recipes from his garden studio and inventing new products for commercial clients. He is a keen environmental activist and the MSC’s UK ambassador promoting sustainable seafood.
James’ most recent book, Salt: The Art of Seasoning is set to be published in May 2023.
