Crystelle Pereira is a creative and charismatic cook, baker & cookbook author, raised in North London by Kenyan born, Portuguese‐Goan parents.
She stole the heart of the nation on The Great British Bake Off, and her baking skills saw her reach the final, receiving several Hollywood Handshakes along the way. Her appearance on GBBO made Vanity Fair’s list of Best Performances of 2021, and she has since gone on to cook on acclaimed TV shows such as Good Morning America, The Today Show, Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch and ITV’s Lorraine.
Whatever she cooks, Crystelle always puts her own distinctive spin on a recipe: adding a new flavour, experimenting with ingredients or combining complementary cuisines. Crystelle has recently published her first cookbook, ‘Flavour Kitchen’, bursting with inventive recipes and creative taste combinations that show how a few key ingredients can easily elevate classic dishes into something vibrant, enticing and fresh.
