The Village Hall

THE VILLAGE HALL

Part of The Big Feastival 2018 line up...

The Village Hall is the centre of any community and ours is no different!  Each morning, join flower crown workshops with the Forget Me Not Florists or try your hand at pompom, knitting and crochet with The Charlbury Women’s Institute.  Around lunchtime, the Charlbury Morris Dancers will be making a welcome appearance, showing off their top tapping skills come rain or shine.

Each afternoon, we’ll be running a special series of guest speakers and panel talks with a family focus, hosted by Jenny Scott - the founder of @MothersMeetings. On Friday, it’s your chance to Meet The Pukkas with Anna Whitehouse (otherwise known as @MotherPukka) and Matt Farquharson (yep, it’s @PapaPukka) joining us on the sofa for a good chat, followed by a book-signing for their Sunday Times best-seller, ‘Parenting The Sh*t Out Of Life’.  On Saturday, we’ll host the first of two Parents Panels with wonder-bloggers @SusieJVerrill, @HurrahForGin and @Steph_DontBuyHerFlowers to discuss the highs and lows of parenting in 2018 and on Sunday, we’ll be joined by parenting pioneers @StyleMeSunday, @ManVersusBaby and @BettyMagazine to discuss life after children. From careers to fashion, social media to how on earth to pack for a family festival – we’ll cover it all.  Park your little ones with your partner, pick up a G&T and join us each day for 45 minutes of inspiring discussions, uplifting conversation and a healthy dose of light relief for our Feastival Mums and Dads.

We’ll then be wrapping up the day with Sounds Familiar's The BIG Family Quiz!  Bring your Auntie, bring your Grandad and be prepared to battle it out in a multi-generational musical contest to rival all others!
