Home Farm Highgrove Allotment
Home Farm Highgrove is part of the Highgrove Estate originally bought by the Duchy of Cornwall in 1980. This organic farm spans a total of 1120 acres with a further 800 acres being contract farmed in the surrounding area by the Highrove farming team. Home Farm Highrove not only grows a wide variety of vegetables and crops, but is home to a range of animals including rare breeds of cows, sheep and pigs. With strong links to the Sustainable Food Trust, Organic Research Centre and The Soil Association the team are passionate about promoting the understanding of the links between food, farming, health and environment and have carefully planted and grown the Veg Patch at this year’s Big Feastival. Have any questions about growing delicious organic produce? Head down to the Veg Patch and the Home Farm Highgrove will be on hand to answer your queries. Alternatively, little chefs can sign up to the NEFF Little Kitchen which includes a Veg Patch tour and picking session, just make sure you sign up at the Little Kitchen Registration Desk.
